Policy.
This notice explains what information the Mystery to Mastery™ series website processes, why we process it, who may receive it and the choices available to you.
Privacy at a glance
This is a public, informational book website. It does not offer visitor accounts, accept payments or request names, email addresses or telephone numbers through a website form.
- Analytics is used to understand aggregate website usage.
- Reader votes do not request identity or account details.
- Non-essential cookies can be accepted, rejected or changed.
- Retailer links use clean, non-affiliate URLs.
1. Who we are and the scope of this notice
This Privacy Policy applies to mysterytomasteryseries.com (the “Site”), which is operated by TRADDICTIV PTE. LTD., a company registered in Singapore under UEN 201818590H, with its registered address at 100D Pasir Panjang Rd. #05-03 Meissa, Singapore 118520 (“Traddictiv”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
Traddictiv is the organisation responsible for deciding how personal data is used on this Site. Questions and privacy requests may be sent to privacy@traddictiv.com.
This notice applies only to this Site. Other Traddictiv websites, applications and services have their own notices because they provide different functionality and collect different information.
2. Information we process
Website and device information
When you visit, our hosting, security, content-delivery and analytics services may process information such as your IP address, approximate location, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, link interactions, date and time, diagnostic information and cookie or consent identifiers. Google Analytics reports this information to us primarily in aggregate form. With consent, Microsoft Clarity may provide session recordings, heatmaps and interaction insights that help us identify usability problems.
Reader votes, rankings and suggestions
If you voluntarily vote on future book subjects or languages, rank proposed titles or submit a suggestion, we store your selected subjects, selected languages, optional free-text suggestion, submission type and submission time. The form does not request your name, email address or an account.
For abuse prevention, the voting feature briefly derives a pseudonymous rate-limit key from the requesting IP address. That temporary key expires after approximately five minutes and the IP address is not stored with the vote. Please do not include personal or sensitive information in a free-text suggestion.
Information you send to us
If you contact us by email, we process the address, message and any other information you choose to provide so that we can respond and maintain an appropriate record of the communication.
3. Why and on what basis we use information
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, we process information for the following purposes and legal bases:
- Operating, protecting and delivering the Site: our legitimate interests in providing a reliable and secure website, preventing abuse and diagnosing technical problems.
- Understanding Site usage: your consent where consent is required for analytics cookies or similar technologies; otherwise, our legitimate interests where permitted by law.
- Planning future books: our legitimate interests in understanding anonymous reader preferences and the voluntary submission you choose to make.
- Responding to communications: taking steps at your request, your consent where applicable, and our legitimate interests in answering enquiries.
- Legal and compliance purposes: compliance with legal obligations and the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
We do not use this Site to make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
4. Automated and AI-assisted processing
We may use software automation, machine-learning systems and artificial-intelligence-assisted tools to help operate and improve our business. On this Site, these systems may assist with classifying and routing communications; aggregating reader votes and rankings; categorising suggestions; identifying abuse or security concerns; analysing Site performance; preparing operational or series-planning reports; and creating or adapting informational, educational or marketing content.
For these purposes, the systems may process relevant website and device information, reader submission data and communications data described in this Privacy Policy. We seek to limit the information used to what is reasonably necessary for the task and apply appropriate access controls, retention settings and contractual, technical or organisational safeguards.
Routine rule-based actions—such as temporary abuse-prevention limits, validating or de-duplicating submissions, and aggregating reader votes—may occur automatically. This Site does not provide visitor accounts, process payments or administer product entitlements. If you believe an automated action affecting a communication or reader submission is incorrect, you may contact us to request review.
We do not use these systems to access brokerage accounts, execute trades, determine whether an investment is suitable for you, or provide personalised investment recommendations. Please do not send us brokerage passwords, private keys, complete payment-card details or trade-execution instructions.
Where service providers assist with automation, workflow management, language processing or artificial intelligence, they may process the limited information required to provide those services on our behalf. International processing and transfers are handled as described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy.
You may request human review of a communication or automated handling of a reader submission by contacting support@traddictiv.com.
5. Cookies, consent and analytics
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies. Strictly necessary technologies support security, consent preferences and core operation. With your permission where required, analytics technologies help us understand visitor numbers, approximate geography, device categories, pages viewed and outbound-link interactions.
Google Analytics may use a first-party identifier such as the _ga cookie to distinguish browsers and sessions when analytics storage is enabled. Google Tag Manager helps us control website tags; the services activated through it determine what information is processed.
With your permission, Microsoft Clarity helps us understand how visitors use the Site through session recordings, heatmaps and interaction metrics. Clarity may process page paths, clicks, scrolling, device and browser details, approximate location, diagnostic information, and cookie or consent identifiers. We use this information to identify usability problems and improve the Site; we do not use Clarity for behavioural advertising. Clarity runs only when Analytics consent is enabled through our cookie settings. Microsoft handles this data under its own privacy terms.
You can accept or reject non-essential cookies and change your selection later. Rejecting analytics cookies will not prevent you from reading the Site or using the buying guide.
You may also control cookies through your browser. Deleting cookies may remove your saved consent preference, in which case the Site may ask you to choose again.
6. Service providers and disclosures
We use service providers that process information on our behalf or provide infrastructure needed to operate the Site. These include:
- GreenGeeks for website hosting and server infrastructure;
- LiteSpeed and QUIC.cloud for caching, optimisation, security and content delivery;
- Google for Analytics, Tag Manager, Site Kit services and off-site backup storage in Google Drive;
- Microsoft for Clarity session recordings, heatmaps and usability analytics when Analytics consent is enabled; and
- WordPress software and selected plugins used to publish, secure, back up and maintain the Site.
We may also disclose information to professional advisers, regulators, courts or law-enforcement authorities when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or respond to lawful requests, and to a successor in connection with a genuine corporate transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.
We do not sell personal data. We do not use the Site to provide behavioural advertising, and the retailer links currently published on the buying guide do not contain affiliate tracking identifiers.
7. Retailers and other external websites
The Site links to Amazon, booksellers, comparison services, maps and other third-party websites. When you follow an external link, that third party becomes responsible for its own website and may collect information under its own privacy policy. We do not control their content, availability, checkout process, cookies or privacy practices. A link does not make us a party to a purchase between you and the retailer.
8. International transfers
Traddictiv is established in Singapore and our providers may process information in Singapore, the United States and other countries. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps required by applicable law to ensure that the recipient provides an appropriate or comparable standard of protection, including contractual safeguards where appropriate.
9. Retention and security
We keep information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this notice, including security, Site improvement, series planning, legal compliance and dispute resolution. Retention is assessed according to the nature of the information, the reason it was collected, provider settings, backup cycles and applicable legal requirements.
Reader submissions are periodically reviewed and are deleted or anonymised when they are no longer useful for series planning. Short-lived abuse-prevention rate limits expire automatically. Analytics data is retained according to the retention controls selected in our Google Analytics property. Backup copies rotate according to our backup schedule and may persist for a limited period after information is removed from the live Site.
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organisational safeguards, including HTTPS, access controls, software maintenance, backups and security protections. No method of Internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
10. Your privacy rights
Your rights depend on where you live and the law that applies. Subject to applicable limitations, these may include the right to:
- request access to and correction of personal data;
- request deletion or restriction of processing;
- object to processing based on legitimate interests;
- receive certain data in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing; and
- complain to the relevant data-protection authority.
Singapore residents may contact the Personal Data Protection Commission. Individuals in the EEA or United Kingdom may contact the supervisory authority where they live or work.
To exercise a right, email privacy@traddictiv.com. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify identity and protect information from unauthorised disclosure.
11. Children
The Site is intended for a general adult audience interested in financial-market education and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly request personal data from children through this Site. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us so that we can assess and take appropriate action.
12. Changes to this notice
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the Site, our providers, legal requirements or privacy practices. The current version will be published here with a revised effective date. Material changes may also be highlighted on the Site where appropriate.
